fun show i eally enjoy , this would be early 60s vintage , a mineshaft in the mohave that the client wants because he found two old indian arrows and a revlover [yes , it was in remarkable condition] that had the name of an early gold prospector engrAVED IN THE GRIP SCALE ,  im not buying it was lost in the 1880s in a mine and looks like it was well taken care of , would love to find one in that condition ,

he also found gold nuggets , spread word around town with paul drake and the story got fun to watch , whole town seemed involved in some way ,

couple nice old levers [but in 3030] and a little shooting , a murder , what more could you ask for in a great hour long show ?

I watched part of a wagon train episode today. When they ran the credits I saw Stacey Keach listed.  I was surprised. Checked and found it was Stacey Keach Sr. He played Carlson the gadget guy on Get Smart. Acted in lots of other shows too.

I like Perry Mason also.  Normally, I watch him at 9 a.m. and 11:30 pm here in E.TN.

The name on that pistol grip was 'Bolar', if my memory serves me correctly.

On a side note..... I really like feasting my eyeballs on Della.

..........Widder

That sounds like the case of The drowsy mosquito. Arthur Honeycutt, Strother Martin?

https://m.imdb.com/title/tt0673247/

I've got the entire series on DVD but I have not made it all the way through season 1 yet. And according to IMDb that episode is season 7.

If that is the correct episode, somebody let me know and I will dig down into season 7 box and get it out and watch it.

Yeah! That’s the episode!

I have a primordial lust for the ‘58 Caddy convertible in some of the earlier episodes!!  That’s one of the rarest Cadillacs ever produced and there was one that ran around in my neighborhood when I was a kid!

1958 Cadillac El Dorado Biarritz Convertible!

HUBBA HUBBA!!

I used to watch Perry Mason all the time when I was a kid and into my teen years. Always liked the different twists and turns that the show took.

I have to say that after a while I began to feel sorry for Hamilton Burger. If I remember right Perry only lost one case...I was happy for Burger.

My favorite parts of Perry Mason episodes involve Tragg’s demeanor when he thinks he’s pulled a fast one on Perry and Tragg’s and Burger’s reactions when Perry outmaneuvers them.

Paul Drake drove a nice ‘56/‘57 Corvette in some of the early episodes too!!

The episode mentioned in the OP had a ‘32 Ford coupe that Strother Martin’s character drove.

There were some really great cars in many of the episodes.  Almost as much fun to watch THEM as it is to follow the plots!!

Somehow I just have trouble visualizing Strother Martin - spit, "bingo", "what we have heah is a failure to communicate" - driving a Little Deuce coupe.

"It's my Little Deuce coupe" spit "bingo, you don't know what I got".

My Dad, who was a prominent probate attorney, used to watch Perry Mason, and loved the show. Dad knew Earl Stanley Gardner, who inspired the character and the series.  Dad passed 21 years ago today at age 98.

i like watchin these partly because they are B&W as it was back then for everything , i recall my grandfather getting the first color TV in our family , the color was awful , the B&W shows were so much clearer and crisper pictures , but the cabinets were so big they took up hall the room ,

Seeing the cars is part of the fun of watching the TV shows set in the 1950s through the 1980s.  "Gotham" was supposedly set in the 1980s and I used to drive a bunch of those vintage cars.

One of last night’s episodes featured a slick little ‘59 Corvette with a stunning blonde at the wheel!!

I’m certain that the Corvette would be much easier to maintain!!
