Assassin
19 years ago on this weekend EOT 2005 was held at Founders Ranch. It snowed about 1/4" and the Californian's thought it was coming a blizzard. 2

Edward R S Canby, SASS#59971
I remember seeing water dishes for dogs froze over. Ice had to be broken before the dogs could drink. I stayed at home and commuted to the match. It was just another late winter match at Founders Ranch. None of the ladies wore their soiled dove costumes. 1

First time meeting and/or shooting with Half-a-Hand Henri, Dingo Dave & Sixgun Sallie, Charlie Bowdrie, Will Reilly, Constable Nelson, Cerveza Slim, Sawyer, Rick-O-Shea, Querita Kate... and that's all I can remember tight now. Larsen E. Pettifogger, SASS #32933
I was thinking 1/4" of snow. Sure seemed like more than that. Then I remembered I was thinking about Smoke in the Valley. EOT was cold, drizzly, muddy and if I recall correctly one person got helicoptered out with a broken leg. Edited April 27 by Larsen E. That was Colorado Big Al, he didn't break his leg. He did take a really hard fall, and he was a big man.

Girl, I remember you running around on that rocky desert over at Stampede in Pahrump. Doubt a little frost would hurt your pedicure.
Cowtown Scout, SASS #53540 L
That was my first EOT, remember it well! SASS found out the weather in New Mexico was a lot different that time of year from what is had been in California. Double Barrel, SASS 34765
Seems like it was more than a 1/4”. I do remember that a few tons of gravel disappeared.

Assassin
Belle Drewry and I were married at EOT 04/27/05. We had a large audience. I had a ball and chain around my ankle and a monkey on my back. We're still married after 19 years. She's a good gal for putting up with my grumpy attitude.
