$1000 pair

1889 Marlin .44-40 original

Serial number 786xx

.30-40 Krag original condition.

US Springfield Amory

Is that Marlin a 1889.

Looks like an 1889 Lever.

I'll go with yes, it's an 1889.

Does that make it worth more?

Update:

I just found the gun was Manufactured in 1892.

FYI, the 76 is NOT a Tom Horn model. the TH model is all blue finish with an abnormal peep sight. It also has a Tom Horn signature inscription on the right side if the receiver in front of the loading gate.

Didn't know that Uberti ever made any SAA clones in .41 Colt. I knew about the .38-40s.

Surprise

I’ll have several long guns, some SASS, some not. There’s some gear and a couple of J. Mark Flint’s hats. Too much to list and a lot more than I care to take pictures of.

Y’all need to be there!!

Had a great time at the yard sale!!  Sold a good bit of my stuff and got to catch up with a bunch of old friends and make some new ones!  Me ‘n’ Stoney sat and talked for a couple of hours and just carried on with everybody!!

Lots of new faces and so many familiar ones!!

For you that understand, this is an “E Ticket Ride”!!  Those of you who don’t know what that means should look it up!  B)
