Rye Miles #13621
The owners are presenting a plan to the players today about starting the season on July 4 or around there. No fans in the stands. STAY TUNED!!!

Utah Bob #35998
Nothing beats being in a ball park on a sunny spring day or mild evening as the sun goes down over the left field fence. Sure you miss the replays and the constant interjecting of stats, analysis and speculation. I enjoy listening to a great broadcasting team too. But I’d rather be there eating a stadium dog, enjoying a beer, smelling the turf, yelling at the ump, and singing Take Me out to the Ball Game during the stretch (although that’s rare these days ). America!

Maybe we were spoiled, Charlie. Definitely spoiled. I once wrote the Reds and suggested they offer a low power radio signal that instantly broadcast Marty and Joe in real time. That would have added so much to my Riverfront experience. Alas, nothing ever came of it.
