Soccer question

If you kick a goal, and run into the goalie box, does the goal still count?

You know like with bowling, or tennis, you step across the line and it's a foot fault and no matter how good you did it ain't good?

Provided you did not molest the goalkeeper, it counts.

If you are ahead, you must run and slide across the grass on your knees.  Then all your teammates must hug you.  Kissing is optional in latin countries.

If you are still behind, you must grab the ball and run to the center circle with a determined look on your face.  The game must be restarted immediatly so you can score again!

I'm not sure if those last two are rules or not.

Soccer is a gentleman's game played by thugs!

Rugby is a thugs game played by gentlemen.

Nope. That's satisfying to me. A hard job done. Soccer is more like watching water evaporate maybe.

As long as you or a teammate don’t interfere with the keeper, it’s a goal. No such thing as a foot fault.

Offsides?  That’s another can of worms that gets soccer fans into lively discussions.

The PK shootout?  Don’t get me started.
