I was a Colorado resident from 1944 to 1967.  Thanks for the memory!

Is the Bronco’s Defense still called the “Orange Crush”, or am I sadly dated?

Parts of it, anyway.

Of course, I'm the kind of guy who will wear a surplus Coldstreamers tunic into an "Irish" bar here in CA on 17 March.

Nope you never get to hear that anymore.

And.....

the era of the "Mile High Salute" is history, ruff tackling is gone, the AFC West was tore down to 4 teams, the stadium took on a weird commercial name, games against the Raiders or Chiefs aren't what they used to be, players come and go thru a revolving door, new safe rules are enforced on almost every play, watching replays have added a 5th quarter to the game......

Now I'm dated.

I watched a film of Lawrence Taylor a few days ago.   I think that he would have drawn a flag on every one of those tackles now.

Know how to free up lots of time and relieve stress at the same time? Ignore Sports...and politics...and news...and don’t drive...and stop going to stores...and...

Yep. Or my A-List hit man Bill Romanowski......

Guess maybe the old school tuffs are why some of these new rules came to being.

And because one day after playing pro football for 20 years one of them woke up one day crippled or with a brain injury and told the media that he had no idea that could happen. The media went wild....

They just don't build them like they used to.

He did hit 'em, didn't he?  I'm more a Jack Tatum fan, though.

Big Daddy Lipscomb.  There is  picture of him, suspended about 5' in the air with his right foot buried in a wide receiver's crouch.
