Father Kit Cool Gun Garth Posted January 22, 2018 Share Posted January 22, 2018 In the past 75 days since November 9, 2017 when the “Official” Welcome process was started, there have been 75 SASS WIRE Members welcomed. 18 of those 75 were either introduced by another member, or they posted their first THREAD. To date, Ms. Allie Mo, myself as Sheriff along with the 19 Deputized Posse Members (so far) have posted 691 welcomes. Another 118 SASS WIRE members have posted 189 welcomes. This gets even better: I forgot to mention that of the 75 new members that have joined, several have taken up the task of welcoming new members themselves, and at least one of those new members has joined the SASS WIRE Posse. I have had a lot of help with getting started from members I have never met, and I hope to meet them in person one day and get to shoot with them. Feels like home already. Marshal Dan Troop 70448 Posted January 24, 2018 Share Posted January 24, 2018 Being welcomed comes from many factors of SASS and CAS. It can be the welcome received when receiving your packet, the club you may have stopped by to see what it is all about, or stopping here at the Wire. CAS/SASS is as I have said many times over, and will probable repeat over and over, shooting is only 50% of the fun. Its the other 50% that many more keep coming back for more, the friendship and fellowship one develops and encompasses. Its also the reason we stick around after a match, (its not only the awards, but so we can cheer and clap for those that get clean matches, and yes, I clap loudest for those that even beat me in my category, awards), or we come early for a match, its so we can say hello, gab, and renew friendships.
