Never mind, I got confused. I thought the origin of maroon was an ancient hunter. Turns out I was thinking of nimrod (bugs used to call elmer both of those names)

This says it all......

  • Oscar Otero Aguilar, 21, reportedly was drinking with friends in northern Mexico City
  • While taking a selfie with a gun, the weapon went off and killed him

Guns and alcohol don't mix.

You're right, Joe, we shouldn't speak ill of the dead, but then I think to myself that Darwin was on to something.

I don't know which I find more idiotic.

While taking a selfie with a gun, the weapon went off and killed him - because guns always just "go off". They are so damn dangerous. And the gun killed him.

A Mexican man died after the gun he was taking a selfie with killed him last weekend.

Didn't know that guns just do their own thing - must'be been the guns fault

Should read:

While taking a selfie with a gun, he pulled the trigger of the weapon and killed himself

GG ~ :FlagAm:

C'mon Gents. Be realistic. Who among us has not been in their local gun shop, just shooting the breeze and admiring stuff; when a sudden and spontaneous firefight has broken out among the guns. It's happened to me at least................NEVER.

I thought u couldn't own a gun in Mexico? Now I understand why they have such strict gun laws!!!!!

I don't know all the details, but I have been told they can't own weapons in military calibers.

Darwinism at it's finest.
