    I have many Rugers and even collect Three screw Rugers. But for playing Cowboy. I love the feel of a Colt or clone . Rooster . Many of the Uberti and Pietta is hard to beet for the price .

    I remember when I had rotator cuff surgery on my right shoulder. I wasn't able to use my right arm for several weeks and had to do everything left-handed. It was a real crappy experience My fingers still have a smell to them 🤣😂🤣

    Im not and never will be a top 10 or a fast shooter . So I shoot so many different categories or style of shooting just for the fun of doing something different. I decided one season I was going to shoot with a gun in each had for on whole season. I found this system of shooting was the simplest to keep track of with everything going on in your head , Without getting your guns crossed up or lost in the sequence.

    I personally could not cut it down. I have a beautiful stock E. Takedown 12 g . I have had it for many years and I can't get myself to cut it down. But to answer your question. Yes 18" is the minimum. I would not go shorter then 20" because you never know where the government is going to try to measure it from . That way your butt is covered ! Rooster
