  7. 45 LC's - any alloy that I have the most of between Bhn 13.4 to 15.4 for both revolvers and rifle * With a good lube, which is the key to no leading, I have a Rossi '92 with close to 15,000 reloads and I have never found a lick of leading in the bore - even the several times I looked down it with a bore scope 44 Percussions - pure Pb to insure the balls are shaved when seated

Two Uberti's, 38-55 Deluxe with DST and 45-70 with single trigger * The 38-55 is re-throated to shoot breech seated and fixed carridge * Both rifles fitted with Baldwin Long Range Creedmoor verniers - Lyman 17A globe fore sights and dove tail mounted level bubble replacing the stock barrel sights * Zero complaints with either rifle for fit to finish and accuracy
  15. Flown with firearms & ammunition to: Interstate US - Canada & Great Britain ... zero issues Here's an example of the gun checkers at Manchester Airport in England - they had me out armed, just in case
  16. Not a function of IF but a function of WHEN. The 1860 is the only tubular magazine I have heard that sets off a chain fire when the spring is released quickly at the muzzle
  17. For a primer to be ignited, it has to be hit HARD and FAST Give me an example of any magazine with 10 rounds in it that the rounds are hit HARD & FAST when loading or waiting to be chambered? Exception - a stunad (idiot) that releases that spring in a 1860 from the muzzle that slams the follower down the magazine with force I load round nose - flat nose and speer points in any of my magazine rifles with no concern that a primer is going to ignite, though the only speer points are the Ideal 311413 in a 30-30 for lever action matches

  20. http://www.ginex.com.ba/Images/PRIMER%204,5-3%3fP1%20for%20Small%20Pistol.pdf The company is not a fly by night - their annual primer production is 300,000,000 to 400,000,000 Come on Edward, this is a reliable International company and a US reloading supplier has them. Spend the 30 bucks or so and do your own comparison. And while your at it, send the *.pdf to Federal, Winchester and Remington asking for the same "public" specifications that this company provides. Money on the bar says you'll be waiting till Hell freezes over before you receive it from each US Company Be the First and let us know how you make out with the Ginex primers
  21. Mad Dog - read this in the Lee Pro 4 Instructions manual: Troubleshooting Should the valve not pour when the knob is raised, it’s most likely caused by the heat being set too low or the valve rod rotated too far clockwise. If you’re sure the heat is set high enough and flow control is open, the spout is likely plugged with sediment. With the melter at operating temperature, hold a straightened paper clip with a pliers and feed the wire up the spout opening to force out the obstruction. Should the valve drip, simply rotate the valve with a screwdriver. If this does not cure the drip, check the valve linkage for binding due to corrosion or damage. The moving points of the valve linkage should be lubed with a high temperature anti-sieze lubricant, like Permatex #133 or equivalent, found at any automotive or well- stocked hardware store http://leeprecision.com/cgi-data/instruct/EL3469.pdf And if this fails to correct the drip ... Guarantee Lee Precision products are guaranteed not to wear out or break fromnormal use for two full years or they will be repaired or replaced atno charge if returned to the factory. Any Lee product of currentmanufacture regardless of age or condition will be reconditioned tonew, including a new guarantee, if returned to the factory with payment equal to half the current factory list price And the advice to buy a 40 pound pot, ask yourself - " When was the last time you cast 40 pounds of bullets at one casting session"? I cast 20 lbs of 454190, 250gr bullets using a 6 cavitywith a 20 lb Lee. That's 560 bullets! Almost guaranteed you will never cast 1120 bullets weighing 250gr at one casting session. Save your money and fix the Lee Pro 4 before you waste spending your money
