  2. I would have said but none are probably available now and none are remarkable enough to recommend over any other cheap cams. Stealth-Cam the latest. Maultree first ones. Wildgame.
  3. I had a similar problem on the last day of a major match. After getting home and going all through the rifle, the culprit seemed to be a worn firing pin. I replaced it with a hardened, extended firing pin and it's been running fine since. Just an idea of something more for you to look at.
  4. I have two CZ 452's in .22 caliber set up alike......Using Wolf Match ammo, both of my daughters and I can hit the mini chicken silhouette targets ( 2 1/2 ") at 210 yards. Yes, that's quite a drop at that distance, but CZ is surpassed only by Anschutz in my humble opinion.......
  5. Is it recommended to lube the seat? I put a light finger coat of syn oil in mine in my Marlin, however until I cycle it several times, the hammer will follow the bolt back and get caught under it. After several cycles all is good until the next time I clean it. Using grease really exacerbates the issue and take many many cycles to clear up. I just don't feel right leaving it dry. My apologies for the hijack
  6. Diamond Curly: I would offer to buy the shells for $80.00 plus shipping, to zip code Ct. 06374. If interested please contact me.
  7. Yeh, that stuff they call gourmet!
  8. One thing to check for is for excessive play between the firing pin extension and the hole in the back of the frame. It will cause the firing pin extension to drag and eventually bind. Happened to my 66. Snake Oil George made an oversized firing pin extension for it and converted it to a one piece firing pin.

  10. The toggle link actions and lubrication, I'm still learning on that one. on some of the higher friction points I use grease, however I usually use snowmobile grease. At room temperature it oozes oil, on a hot day it may even liquify completely, but from what I can see it does still lubricate. The rest gets a light coating of Ballistol. There is one product I'd like to try, and that is Armite LP-250 Sear Grease, it sounds like a good idea. The hammer sear in a 66/73 is pretty much out of the main crud stream. The lifter and lifter cavity are dry, Q-Tip and ISO dry, so that any blowby particles will not gum up the slide. Now back to the main issue. I've also experienced the need to increase hammer pressure. The cause seems to be with the firing pin action getting sluggish. IOW, at full cock I'll push on the firing pin and I find that it pushes in and come back out but the movement doesn't seem "free". On the list is a complete tear down, and as already stated, I'm thinking I'll find some dried up and gummy lube. This is on a 2001, Uberti '73, new into my shop, an estate to gunshow to a vendor in our club, to me for repair and then off to the new owner. Not to steal the thread, but it would not cycle smoothly. I got it working but I needed to shorten the toggle pin and replace the lifter arm, as it didn't seem correct. Remember: "Many gunshow goods have issues, all have history and a story." BB
  11. No. T2 they sent back a Terminator that was apparently made out of mercury with the mission of killing teenage John Conner, and then they sent back Ahnuld to protect him. They did not send a person back in T2. So obviously the person they sent back could not be reminiscing about the war.
  12. Something to remember is that the 10/22 is more modular and much of the work you may be able to do yourself and I'm pretty sure that includes replacing the barrel on the 10/22 which is held in place by Allen bolts
  13. I understand completely. I sit there going "huh?" at many of the memes, because it's about a sports figure - and I don't follow sports - or a politician - and I don't watch television so I don't recognize politicians.
  14. Depends on what the assets are. Regarding the book, If you had no heirs and made no other arrangements in your will then the publishers and perhaps your agent if you had one would split the money and they would have to pay any taxes that applied. As for something like land, the house or a car, probably the state gets that and the state will probably auction it off. There are a lot of worthwhile charities out there that you can put in your will to at least get any life insurance or cash. Something to think about for those of you who don't have any people to give the money to or have people that you don't want to give the money to. For me, aside from my parents, I don't want any of my relatives inheriting my estate when I die.
  15. I was just now looking at a book over on The Faded Page. It said it was published in 1969. Then I was reading about the author. Said he died in 1967. Now if I wrote a book and it didn't get published until 2 years after my death, my daughter would get the royalties. But if I lived alone and didn't have a wife or kids or any other beneficiary, would the publishers get to keep it all?
  16. Thank you @Widder, SASS #59054 It’s supposed to be a friendly competition but I am not sure whether semiauto is not allowed. I actually never asked except when I said “I have a Ruger 10/22.” the guys I was talking to all smiled and said “You will definitely want something better than that.” I have zero interest in building a gun, but I will look at Kidd. Thank you.
