Any one know of any good shoots around Christmas time.  I have 12 days off here in Michigan and would like to find a warm weather vacation/shoot to attend.   I’ve been working on my Santa beard for several months and I’m ready to go.

Come on down to Texas.  You can shoot with Thunder River on December 14 and 28 and with Texas Historical Shootist Society (THSS) on December 21 and 22.  THSS will have a Christmas pot luck dinner at the range after the match on December 22.

Check it out at THSS.org

Palmetto Posse, Columbia SC.  Dec 7.  It's the very best, with lunch served after.

The Palmetto Posse Christmas match is a one day shoot with 50-70 shooters. We throw everything at you including the kitchen sink but it's all for fun and we DO have a great time. We also have a bbq lunch afterwards.

This is our annual match to benefit Toys for Tots and info can be found on the www.scstatematch.com website.

I think Buckshot Betty already has you fine  folks on our schedule for the no man’s shoot and the bushwhack SC state championship.

Looks like that THSS shoot is the 14/15 unless the calendar is off.

The No Man's Land match will be hosted by The Savannah River Rangers. The Christmas match is hosted by The Palmetto Posse. Both clubs call Mid Carolina Rifle Club home. The Bushwhack is held in Belton, SC at the Belton Gun Club. All will be excellent matches and you can't go wrong with any or ALL of them.

Well, crap.  I apologize, I should have checked the schedule before I posted.  Thunder River shoots the second and fourth Saturdays of each month and THSS shoots the weekend of the third Sunday.  That usually works out as three consecutive weekends of shooting.  But, if the first day of the month is a Sunday, then the second Saturday and the weekend of the third Sunday are the same.  December 1 is a Sunday this year.  Glad you checked and found out now.

Rumor has it we will have an Outlaw Gift Exchange on Sunday after the shooting and all guns are put away. When the gifts start getting stolen we don't want gun play.
