Alpo
I bought a sack of glow sticks - chem lights - whatever you want to call them. As you can see, they come with a little hook. And for some reason they included string, I guess so you can tie that on the little hook and hang them from something. I decided to transfer them from the sack to an ammo can. Less chance of them accidentally getting stepped on or bent - unintended activation. And as I am pouring them out of the sack into the ammo can, here comes the string. I did not know the string was in the sack. Now if you saw that sliding out of a bunch of pale green sticks, what would be your first thought? HOW DID THIS GIANT DAMN AUSSIE SPIDER GET IN THIS SACK???!!!??!!???!!??!?! That was my first thought.

Actually I thought he was the one that put the spider in the sack. I wondered how he knew that I would get that particular sack of glow sticks. Obviously he's smarter than he looks.

Pat Riot
I’m curious @Alpo. Why remove them from their pouch? I seem to recall reading somewhere that “storing glow sticks should be done by leaving them in the original packaging for longer shelf life.” I cannot recall where I read that though. I am pretty sure I would have jumped if a green tarantula came out of the bag too. 1
Alpo
I have discovered, over the years, that if you have more than one package of something, one of them will disappear. I found that it helps if you can conglomerate everything into one container. I had both the box and a bag of these things, so I decided to dump them all into this ammo can. I expected them all to be individually wrapped. The ones in the box were. But as you can see, in the picture above inside the can, the ones in the bag were not wrapped. I suspect that the reason they recommend you leave them wrapped is so light does not get to them. But since these will be in a airtight/watertight/light tight container I don't think there will be a problem.

Wondered if your wallabies are like our deer here that will break in during rut. The bucks will see their own reflection in a window and ram through it.
