Back in Ohio, in a suburb of Columbus, there was an IGA store, (grocery store for those of you too young to remember them), that had a small section that was an actual gun store. The owner later, (mid 1980s), turned it inti a full gun store, and now Vances Outdoor is a chain of four stores in Ohio.

There's or at was a grocery up here in Cavendish, VT. that had a gun store as the first aisle. The whole upper 6 feet of the wall all around the whole store is covered with vintage firearms. Pretty cool.:)

I don't even get it, let alone see why it's funny.

Fellowship of the Ring getting ready to enter the Mines of Moria.

If they weren't all there I would say Mordor, which I think was the intended meaning, but being pedantic about things like that I'll go with Moria.

Um....I think that the meme maker meant for WH to be seen as a metaphor for Mordor.

I've never seen the movie, so I don't know what that is. I'll just have to not understand it. Everything I know about the Fellowship of the Ring I picked up from "The Big Bang Theory". And I won't worry about it either.

Yeah Wafle House was confusing me, especially since they spelled it with one F, which is a Polish cookie.

Could be that someone actually cares about copyright infringement. OR Using Waffle House in a publicized meme by someone that works for or is part of a company that could be sued for copyright or trademark infringement might be the reason.

Regardless, I don’t know a thing about this modern variation of the Ring Trilogy (read the books years ago)

I just thought it was a cool picture.
