Calamity Kris Posted December 27, 2022 Posted December 27, 2022 I picked DC. The collateral damage was pretty significant. Maybe congress will be in session next time.......
Pat Riot Posted December 27, 2022 Posted December 27, 2022 Los Angeles and Portland are no longer with us. Mwah-ah-ah-ahhhh!
Marshal Mo Hare, SASS #45984 Posted December 27, 2022 Posted December 27, 2022 It’s a far cry from Asteroids that was played in the 70s.
Pat Riot Posted December 27, 2022 Posted December 27, 2022 Here is an interesting link from JPL that shows a daily roundup of the next 5 asteroid approaches to Earth. https://www.jpl.nasa.gov/asteroid-watch/next-five-approaches The asteroid labeled “2010XC15” is 570’ long. Big enough to destroy LA proper and some surrounding cities. Yes, I checked on the Neal.Fun asteroids sight.
Injun Ryder, SASS #36201L Posted December 27, 2022 Posted December 27, 2022 They should provide the stats on which cities are hit the most. 1. Washington DC 2. ?
Sedalia Dave Posted December 27, 2022 Posted December 27, 2022 Unfortunately it doesn't model water impacts well as it doesn't account for the tsunami. Would have been interesting to see the damage from a 2500 ft tsunami.

Pat Riot Posted December 27, 2022 Posted December 27, 2022 But who in the hell would want to surf to Cleveland?
