Trailrider #896 Posted June 14, 2022 Share Posted June 14, 2022 Our little cockapoo, Lucy, was just diagnosed with a polyp sticking out of her vagina. Not a prolapse. Vet couldn't push it back in. Called in the veterinary surgeon, and they have surgery scheduled for tomorrow afternoon, unless they can get to her sooner. They think the prognosis is good, but won't know for sure until they check with a camera. She is going on 13 years, so this is NOT insignificant. Her kennel mate, who has problems of her own, can sense something isn't right, as we had to leave Lucy at the vet clinic. We've had them both since they were pups. Naturally, we are concerned, and it comes as quite a shock because Lucy seemed to be in good health. Could y'all say a little prayer for her to come through the surgery okay and a rapid recovery? We've been giving our other dog, Chiquita chemo meds for about nine months now, so this is rough on my wife, Chi-chi, and...well my stomach hasn't been too good since this morning. Thanks, Pards!
