Possum Skinner, SASS#60697 Posted September 18, 2021 Posted September 18, 2021 I recently bought a Polish capper and when I went to fill it, I realized I knew of no easy way to put caps in with correct side up. Is there an easy, quick way to do that? Or do I just have to manually flip them as I fill it? Thank you, Possum
J-BAR #18287 Posted September 18, 2021 Posted September 18, 2021 In my Tedd Cash capper I just dump them in and swirl/shake them around for a few seconds. Most of them flip over on their own. I assume the caps would behave the same in a Polish device.

Sgt. Hochbauer, SASS #64409 Posted September 18, 2021 Posted September 18, 2021 I also use the Ted Cash capper and when a few don't turn over I usually have a toothpick handy to help with that. Hochbauer
Sedalia Dave Posted September 19, 2021 Posted September 19, 2021 I use my nipple prick to flip the few stubborn caps that don't right themselves.
Possum Skinner, SASS#60697 Posted September 19, 2021 Author Posted September 19, 2021 Yep. Shaking it works pretty good! Thank you, gentlemen.
Rye Miles #13621 Posted September 19, 2021 Posted September 19, 2021 I got the straight line capper, is this any good. I have problems with it. https://www.tdcmfg.com/product-page/universal-straightline-capper

They should work fine for everything but Remington #10s. Because #10s are a taller than other caps sooner or later one becomes stuck inside the capper. Prying a live cap out of an inline capper just didn't seem smart to me.
Clueless Bob Posted September 19, 2021 Posted September 19, 2021 Possum Skinner, you shooting Frontiersman at CAC?

irish ike, SASS #43615 Posted September 20, 2021 Posted September 20, 2021 I use a Ted Nash straight capper. They work for 1858 Remingtons and Remington # 10 caps with no issues. Not pertinent to the OP just I don't like handling the snail or Polish cappers.
