After WR, I'm heading to CA to visit my kids and grand kids......Daughter in Sherman Oaks (LA area) and son in Dublin (San Jose area)

Looking for a club shoot or a weekend match in both areas in March.

Suggestions?

Cajon 2nd and 4th Saturday, The Cowboys at Norco on the 4th Sunday. Escondido first Saturday, Dulzura second Saturday.

If you can make it to a match with The Cowboys in Norco then do yourself a favor and do it. Birthplace of SASS, outstanding range, outstanding matches and even better people.

(But don’t tell any of them I said that. Wouldn’t want them getting big heads. ;))

Morgan Hill, just outside of San Jose, has a shoot pretty much every weekend. Check out California gunslingers website for most of the matches in California.

Kings River Regulators in Fresno, CA has a shoot every 3rd Sunday of the month. Near the halfway-ish mark between LA and San Jose, depending on route taken.

Two Rivers Posse shoots in Manteca on the 1st Saturday and the 4th Sunday of every month. From Dublin, its about a 40 minute drive due East on 580. Theres also the Coyote Valley Cowboys in Morgan Hill. Come on out if you can!       http://www.californiagunslingers.com/        http://www.coyotevalleycowboys.com/

March 10th there is a practice match at Richmond. Too bad Chabot range closed, as there would have been a match there on that Sunday I believe.

Correct me if I'm wrong; but I thought Coto de Caza was the birthplace of SASS.

Roy, following is a link to one of the No. CA Websites. Diamond Dick's Cowboy Town has a SASS Match every weekend. I'd love to meet you.

Maybe I'm confusing it with the birthplace of EOT

March 10th is the Coyote Valley Cowboys shoot in Morgan Hill,. about an hour from where you will be. It is held at the Coyote Valley Sporting Clays range, which has a website with links to the cowboy shoot. Very easy to get to, just  short distance off the Freeway. I will be there with my wife and both kids, so hope you can make it. If you need any reloading gear I could probably help out, have a lot of stuff.

Allie:

Yes, Coto De Caza was home to the first EoT, and where we were shooting when SASS was formed. The Cowboys were the first SASS club to be formed (although they were first called the Coto Cowboys)
