"WE" do pay them. The price of tickets is insane leaving the low paid person sitting at home. The cost of commercials gets pushed down to the consumers, as in you and I.

The owners raise prices and charge more for the TV rights and commercials. They make a profit or they wouldn't be in the business.

I agree about the family influencing their children. But the actual education system is afraid to take and stand. So they push kids through. Ready or not. My daughters a teacher and she is just amazed at the lack of control over the students and the lack of interest on the kids part.

Now then Batter up.

R. Sox lost the second game. Damn, there goes the undefeated season. Park the duck boats.

Marshal, it is all Loopholes fault, he had them all ready to go the other day.

Hey, on the bright side, they are playing .500 ball.

The Portland Sea Dogs open today, they will have to use orange colored baseballs, as we got about five inches of snow.

Ya gotta love Francona, he said he didn't believe in "curses" and proved that by taking the BOSOX to the WS after a long draught supposedly brought on by the curse of the "Bambino"!! I don't believe in curses either it's all about playing good fundamental baseball and pitching, pitching and more pitching!

Tribe took a no hitter into the bottom of the ninth. Hagadone gave up a solo homer, ruined a no- no

Ouch.

Yeahbut, that seems to be when a lot of teams lose their Mojo.

And things don't get real tense until late August or early September.

But by then, it is too late for some of the teams. Too many giveaway

or lost games early on. ALL of those losses in April/May will have an

impact on August/September.

Badger, I knew what you were saying, tuff loses, player slumps,Injuries, call ups, and trades change the chemistry of a team real fast.

The only team that I hope loses their Mojo, are those Yankees. I like close, well played games ( a dog fight, for lack of a better term) in the divisions from the get go right up till the bitter end. It makes the game more exciting.
