The cost of commercials gets pushed down to the consumers, as in you and I. The owners raise prices and charge more for the TV rights and commercials. They make a profit or they wouldn't be in the business. I agree about the family influencing their children. But the actual education system is afraid to take and stand. So they push kids through. Ready or not. My daughters a teacher and she is just amazed at the lack of control over the students and the lack of interest on the kids part. Now then Batter up. And things don't get real tense until late August or early September. But by then, it is too late for some of the teams. Too many giveaway or lost games early on. The only team that I hope loses their Mojo, are those Yankees. I like close, well played games ( a dog fight, for lack of a better term) in the divisions from the get go right up till the bitter end.
