Paden Posted February 13, 2014 Posted February 13, 2014 Thanks to Mom Nature and her 6+ inches of snow in Section, Al. The wife said, "Let's have snow cream/" Me being a Yankee, I had no idea what that was. It was really good. Too bad this kind of snow only happens very rarely in Northern Alabama. Paden
Tyrel Cody Posted February 13, 2014 Posted February 13, 2014 be very suspicious of "Lemon" snow cream.
Branchwater Jack SASS #88854 Posted February 13, 2014 Posted February 13, 2014 be very suspicious of "Lemon" snow cream. Ya. Was sure to remind the boy this morning to not eat the yellow snow
Virgil Ray Hality, SASS# 37355 Posted February 13, 2014 Posted February 13, 2014 I think, that is an interesting idea - snow cream that is. Otherwise up this way we have to suffer with Italian ice, Polish ice, frozen custard or plain old ice cream.
Cat Brules Posted February 14, 2014 Posted February 14, 2014 "Watch out where the huskies go, and don't you eat that yellow snow"
Grizzly Dave Posted February 14, 2014 Posted February 14, 2014 Ain't never heard of no snow cream. Get plenty of snow up in these parts though.
Badger Mountain Charlie SASS #43172 Posted February 14, 2014 Posted February 14, 2014 Ain't never heard of no snow cream. Get plenty of snow up in these parts though. Your education is incomplete, Grizz
Noz Posted February 14, 2014 Posted February 14, 2014 We couldn't make snow ice cream out of the first snow fall. The first snow fall cleaned the air so the second third etc were clean enough to eat.
Tascosa, SASS# 24838 Posted February 14, 2014 Posted February 14, 2014 My wife and I do that everytime it snows. Snow ice cream is GOOD! And its healthy too....Major point with my wife! Tascosa
Allie Mo, SASS No. 25217 Posted February 14, 2014 Posted February 14, 2014 Ahhhh! Childhood memories. We rarely got snow at Bass Lake CA; but when we did, we always had snow ice cream!
Grizzly Adams 3674 Posted February 14, 2014 Posted February 14, 2014 My Mother always made snow ice cream for us! Big treat, as we did not get snow more than once a year.
G #1840 Posted February 15, 2014 Posted February 15, 2014 Out here we are more likely to know about Shave Ice
Allie Mo, SASS No. 25217 Posted February 15, 2014 Posted February 15, 2014 Milk, vanilla, snow. BTW He who cannot cook anything but eggs could figure that one out.
Two Dot, 14911 Posted February 15, 2014 Posted February 15, 2014 Mom used to make that for us. Thanks for reminding me. Those were great times .
