Utah Bob #35998
Smile when you're winning.... and losing. Smile at your old friends, new friends, and potential friends.Have fun. Even a bad day shooting beats a good day at work.Offer to help anyone who needs it, be they new shooters or close competitorsOpen your mind to new ideas. You might learn something.Tell people that you enjoyed shooting with them and hope to do it again.Enjoy the experience of shooting in a free country. Many people cannot.Remember, it's just a game. Stay Cowboy my friends.

charlietwogunz
That philosophy is what CAS should be all about. We (I) should be more aware of why we got into this great sport-pastime in the first place. If all of us practiced the cowboy way as stated by Bob we would all have more fun. Thanks Bob ! 2 Gunz "Honor to Whom Honor Due"

Sonoma Steve
It's people that feel the way this statement represents that caused me to join. Even though I just started, I have not been to a match that this feeling was not present.

Billy Bristol
That's a great philosophy to live by. It is one I have also. My first match was last Sunday and even with misses and a P on my first stage I had a great time. When Snake Eyes asked me how I did on the first match, I looked at him and said " well I didn't shoot anyone or myself ". We both laughed. Had a great time and looking forward to my next match on 17th.
