She doesn't mind shooting and may show up at a shoot one day, but we will never get her away from her Quarter Horses. Or, to put it another way, I realized early on that if I were to say "it's either me or the horses," I had better be packing my bags... Thanks all! I will let everyone know after my first shoot. I went to "Hard Times," where the Miami Valley Cowboys shoot. GREAT bunch of people, by the way! To make a long story short, I still don't have my gun rig yet, and couldn't track down a rig. Several of the shooters there said that if I were available to shoot next weekend at another nearby shoot, they would be sure to bring a spare rig. At any rate, I watched, asked questions, soaked in as much as I could, met a lot of great people, and even helped out a bit. Either next weekend or the next shoot at Hard Times.
