I have several 2nd Gen Colts . But honestly if your looking gor shooters . The Uberti or Pietta is a much better gun with better rifling twist and build quality. The 2nd Gens just look nicer on the out side and Say Colt on them . But I have Several I could be talked out of for a price . Rooster

I know . I shot a 92 for many years over the Marlin. I still consider the 92 as one of the best lever action rifles ever made .

My cousin had a 9 mm carbine rifle. He took a hacksaw and cut the stock in half because he thought it would look cool as a pistol. He wrote a email to High Point and told them what he did, They mailed him a new stock. No charge ! Rooster

I load most of the time with ether Goex , APP or Unique. This pretty much covers everything a Man needs for powder . Rooster

They call it a 1873 Colt Clone. It should be called a 2010 Ruger Vaquero Clone But they look just fine to me . I have had very good Taurus Revolvers over the years . Much better then the plastic fantastic they have been putting out ! Rooster

If you take your Marlin of any vintage . And you put it in a rifle holder of your favorite type . Take a Brass punch and knock out the rear sight from Left to Right . Too not damage the dovetail or the sight itself. Remove the Marlin from the holder and turn it over and cycle the action 14 times upside down . Then 14 times on its left side . 14 more times on its right side . This is all done with No Ammo in the firearm. This is the smoothest a Marlin will ever feel . Then you put it back in the safe for that rainy day of shooting . Pull out your Winchester 73 . And go shooting with the best functioning rifle of all time Rooster

Nothing wrong with the French . They had a lot of unfired rifles only dropped once sold on the American market

Smith&Wesson No. 3 revolvers are Beautiful and a lot of fun to play with . If I'm reading this info correctly. There is No parts available for these guns when they go down ? Why is that ? I mean they still make and sell them . Why can you not get parts for them ? Rooster

Mine worked really good out of the box. They made them to shoot 2.3/4 shells and Not 2.5 like a lot of them did . Only problem with a drop two conversion is you can't load the tube when you want more rounds then two in the shotgun. I would rather be able to load the full tube when I want too. And learn to single load it for Cowboy Action Shooting. Rooster

So my New Model Army Remington By Pietta AKA 58's Are older guns and I had cylinder fitment issus from the start . The frames was two small and the timing was off once I fitted the cylinders to the frame. I had to order special Hand and fit them to correct the timing issues. I don't think it's all that uncommon on the older guns to have to do some fitment work to them . Most new guns it's a drop in and play game . Hand issue !

Just Sayin you can probably buy a Brass Frame Pietta 44 and barrel length you want for about as cheap as your going to pay for all the parts you need . Good luck . Rooster

I have never had this happen with any of my APP loads that I'm aware of ? Nothing has ever seemed out of order that I could tell .

I'm not sure if your trying to ask a question or just make a statement. I am also a 44 Man . I load and shoot 44 Magnum , 44 Special & 44 Russian. If you shoot and load 44 Russian. You can replicate the 44 Henry flat exactly the same as it was originally shot , Just in center fire . Just Sayin Rooster

A lot of us are on both YouTube and Rumble because YouTube really sensors you their platform these days. I am ( BigRooster616 ) on YouTube and Rumble. Rumble is a much gun friendly platform.

If you can take it apart and clean it . You can put a spring kit in it yourself. More or less just like a Colt setup . Hand is a little different but not rocket science . Just order a spring kit and do one at a time and enjoy the process. Rooster
