The hundred and forty second fastest gun...(ba dump)...in the West!

Recommended Posts

Two sets of dishes reminds me of a story. Had to have seen it in the reader's digest.

This guy said his mother was not very religious, so he was quite surprised when visiting to hear from the kitchen Mama telling his wife not to put those dishes in that cabinet. They go in this cabinet over here.

"Mama", he said, "when did you start keeping kosher?"

"Kosher, schmosher. Microwavable and non-microwavable."

The Ballad of Irving - there used to be a Youtube video some young boys made that was hilarious, but it seems to be gone now.

Clint Eastwood made a movie with an orangutan. Every which Way but loose. It was such a hit they made a sequel. Any which way you can.

In the sequel they are in a lounge and the producers of the show have got Jim Stafford in there. He's going to be singing in the lounge. So they told him they wanted him to sing a song and he asked what they wanted to hear, and they said they didn't care. They just wanted him there singing.

So he wrote Cow Patty for that scene.

recently it seems a lot of things from my younger and particularly very early life are surfacing to make me smile --- not sure if its just me getting old and wanting to notice or perhaps the older crowd here and such finding our commonality or what , it just seems to be happening a lot these days ..............................and im liking it

That's why I have 60s Gold on SiriusXM about 90% of the time.  Back in my misspent youth 50 years ago I was an oldies disk jockey.  Now with karaoke I can sing what I used to play on the air.
