Alpo
I have a spatula. But it is all metal. As I cook it heats up and transfers the heat to my hand. Owie. So I was thinking about putting a couple of scales on it, like a knife. But not having any brass rivets, I thought about epoxy. Glue the suckers on. But not having all that much experience with epoxy, I don't know if it would stand up to heat. It would suck to be lifting something out of the pan and the spatula start rotating because the epoxy loosened and the wood was no longer holding on to the handle. John Kloehr
JB Weld can fix a crack in an engine block, so definitely good to about boiling temperatures.

Mud Marine,SASS#54686 Life
I use dutch ovens for Scouts and competition. JB Weld is my first choice. I do not have a second choice. :-)
Perro Del Diablo
Depends on the epoxy. An easier way is get a leather handle cover

Utah Bob #35998
I have several all metal spatulas. They are not a problem. Are you leaving ii in the pan or something??
Subdeacon Joe
When I was maybe 10 or 11 I tried using epoxy to glue the fins onto a model rocket. I found out that epoxy does soften with heat.
