Do I get to keep the mugs? Actually, there are some Oktoberfest mugs you can buy / keep. My folks went to Europe pretty frequently after retirement and brought back several for my Mug collection. All Earthenware, no glass.

Each one holds a liter of liquid. At least a 1/3 of each of those mugs is beer foam (head). A liter of beer weighs approximately 2.2 lbs (1 - kilo). If the mugs are only .66 full of liquid that equals 1.45 lbs (mol). So she would be bringing me about 19 lbs of beer...6 more lbs of beer. Still my kind of gal.
Rip Snorter Posted September 27, 2023 Posted September 27, 2023 The mugs are stamped 1 L, the fill line is 33 oz approximately, and Germans are rather picky about that sort of thing.

Chickasaw Bill SASS #70001 Posted September 28, 2023 Posted September 28, 2023 the Germans , be real picky about getting a full measure CB
