By the Sheriff's Mustache, thank you for this!

Good memories ... in Marching Band, to avoid an excess of nerves, we'd form a loose circle and jam ... Herb Alpert's music was always a favorite to try and play without benefit of sheet music ... didn't always come out the way Herb wrote it but by golly we did pretty well!

Nobody going to take a guess at the cameo from my last post?

My favorite Led Zeppelin song. I couldn't really listen to it for a long time because of the memories associated with it.

I'm sorry.  With my poor eyesight, the video is too distorted for me to see.  If I were to venture a guess, the woman most often featured is Linda Ronstadt?

Good guess, but no. I’ll see if I can find a better version of it later.

Edit: No luck so far.

Sometimes you want instrumentals for a little peace, sometimes for a little motivation.

This song was the favorite of a good friend of mine that I rode thousands of miles with and who was one of those special people that brightened my world.

He passed about this time several years ago, but he still rides with me…

Either in Dire Straits or as a solo act, Mark Knopfler is great guitarist and songwriter
