Chantry Posted April 7, 2025 Posted April 7, 2025 Here is a live version of something I posted before. Tom Jones covering a John Lee Hooker song. This is not the Tom Jones of the 1970's. Quote
Rye Miles #13621 Posted April 13, 2025 Posted April 13, 2025 (edited) One of my favorites from the 60’s, written by Carole King. I play a condensed version of this on the piano when I’m done tuning. Edited April 13, 2025 by Rye Miles #13621 1 Quote
Rip Snorter Posted April 17, 2025 Posted April 17, 2025 Have several Imelda May albums - in the right mood, perfect choice! Quote
Chantry Posted April 18, 2025 Posted April 18, 2025 Probably my favorite Frank Sinatra song. Frank singing, Count Basie and his Orchestra playing and Quincy Jones conducting. 1 Quote
Linn Keller, SASS 27332, BOLD 103 Posted April 19, 2025 Posted April 19, 2025 I'm satisfied I posted this one before. When I wrote of Victoria dancing Irish hardshoe to this particular tune, I had to hear it again. Forgive me. I'm a sentimental old softy! 2 Quote
Chantry Posted April 21, 2025 Posted April 21, 2025 Christone 'Kingfish' Ingram. I've seen him live, extremely talented, especially for someone so young. Quote

Rye Miles #13621 Posted April 24, 2025 Posted April 24, 2025 This was in my head when I woke up. I heard it yesterday on the radio. 1 Quote
Linn Keller, SASS 27332, BOLD 103 Posted April 28, 2025 Posted April 28, 2025 (edited) When Sheriff Willamina Keller exercised in her living room, this is the music she had BLASTING out of a BIG set of speakers. She drove herself mercilessly, for reasons of her own, perhaps she was punishing herself. God knows she'd seen hell enough, personally and professionally. Anyway -- here's the music she chose! Apocalyptica - Hall of The Mountain King (Official Video) (Apparently You Tube won't allow me to imbed the vid, so this is the link, my apologies!) Rye Miles #13621 Posted May 3, 2025 Posted May 3, 2025 Well it is baseball season and I always liked Carly!😍 Quote
Chantry Posted May 4, 2025 Posted May 4, 2025 Still touring as Rick Estrin & the Nightcats. Rick is the singer and harmonica player. Little Charley used to be the lead guitar until he sadly passed away. I've seen both line ups and I'm looking forward to seeing them again in July. Always a fun show. 1 Quote
