I am staying at the Diamond this time which is where I stayed the first time there. Only did the Super 8 last time because the Diamond was full. Super 8 was decent years ago but has been turning into a dump. I'm not surprised, nor sad.

Chili Pepper Kid, SASS #60463 Posted May 1, 2024 Posted May 1, 2024 I’m staying at the Holiday Inn. I’m hooked on their pancake making machine for breakfast.

Cowtown Scout, SASS #53540 L Posted May 1, 2024 Posted May 1, 2024 Well I’m checked in and unloaded - have an issue - got here without my range hat and my dress hat - so hatless - need suggestion how to acquire a hat to shoot the match?
Cowtown Scout, SASS #53540 L Posted May 1, 2024 Posted May 1, 2024 Just purchased me a new hat at Rittels Thanks for the offers to loan me a hat. Major gave me the info about Rittles Western Wear and I needed a new range hat anyway so now I have one.

Major Art Tillery Posted May 5, 2024 Author Posted May 5, 2024 A quick note: Thank you to all the classic that made this year's Classic Cowboy/Cowgirl Showdown! We had a fantastic time, weather was a little rough with some rain and mud to deal with... But we made it through it! With the weather and posse duties I did not get as many photos as I would have liked... So if you have any feel free to share. I also missed out on a group photo, I had plans to do it at the banquet, but it was a little tight in there and with time restraints it sadly didn't happen. I would like to apologize for that as I know many of you enjoy that alot. (Please remember the Showdown is a match in match, what we recognize may not be the same as the host club) The '24 Classic Champs are as follows: Classic Cowboy (Open) - Leroy Luck Classic Cowgirl (Open) - Half-A-Hand Henri Classic Cowboy Senior - Chili Pepper Kid Classic Cowboy Silver Senior - High Plains Hud Classic Cowboy Elder Statesman - Pit Mule Classic Cowboy Cattle Baron - Bulldog Brown Classic Cowboy Frontier Cartridge - Johnny Knight Classic Cowboy Frontier Cartridge Gunfighter - Tucker McNeely Classic Cowboy 1860 Henry - Major Art Tillery Classic Cowboy Ol' Skool - Slow Poke Gear Classic Cowboy '87 Lever - 3 Shot Shamrock Classic Young Gun - Julie Bean Top five Classics: (1) 3 Shot Shamrock - 286.19 (2) High Plains Hud - 298.66 (3) Leroy Luck - 306.77 (4) Tucker McNeely - 322.67 (5) Half-a-Hand Henri - 327.98 (Correction)
