I would like to thank the Oklahoma territorial marshalls for hosting landrun, a truly great match. My family and I have been there 3 times now. The match is always run professionally and smoothly. We had a great time and are already making plans to attend next year!! God willing. The stages seems to flow well and smooth. The vendors had almost every thing a cowboy or cowgirl could desire. The range events and activities were great. A huge shout out to all the members and volunteers that make this match possible and run. THANK YOU!! The slow poke family even came away with some extra bling. My son took 2nd, my 14 year old daughter took 3rd in classic cowgirl, my wife took 3rd in lady duelist!! I am so proud of them all! As a duelist/classic cowboy i have not found that longer barrels are more accurate that shorter barrel. That being said i do believe a shorter barrel will get the gun into action faster bc there is less movement in and outta holsters. But my own preference is for 5.5 inch barrels i like the way they balance in MY hands the best but everyone is different. I have found the most important thing for accuracy is trigger pull, meaning even if you have your sights aligned then you jerk the trigger odds are your going to miss. Just my 2 cents Slow poke

I have a couple of items for sale will be bringing to landrun. 1. Murphys leather gunbelt and shotgun belt, 1 38 ammo slide, these are not the same color but both from Murphys leather. Persimmon Dan does great leather work. $450 2. A Pietta 1858 44 caliber blackpowder revolver that also has a 45 colt conversion cylinder with it. $450

If I am reading the hand book correctly, you can use a rifle or pistol slide over a shotgun loop, but can't use a shotgun slide over a shoot gun loop (I would assume thins means no 12ga loops over a 20ga belt). Am I correct? I have a shotgun belt that has billet to billet shotgun loops and would like to put a pistol slide over one to have a extra rifle reload handy.

Bill english makes 45 cowboy carriers. I think that is where long hunter gets them from.

It was a great shoot as always!! And mine came with some shiny new bling. It really is interesting trying to figure out how to shoot the stages, with the amount of movement and staging locations it was great!!
