Legality of shotgun belt

The  one I saw they were attached with rivets. The hole in the thimble looked like the one in the picture below. The leather was beveled with a counter sink tool so that when riveted, the thimble sat flush.

For those that said they want some give me a couple weeks, I just moved to a new town and all my tools are still pack up, plus I have to find the brass to bend

That's what I thought CC I only shot brass shot shells too.
