Alpo
Does anyone know if Priority Mail is delivered by a different delivery person than the regular mailman? You can sign up for a service with the post office and every day they will email you what mail is going to arrive that day. With pictures of it. Both letter mail and packages. And on the day if you don't have any mail coming, you don't receive an email. Yesterday I did not get an email, which meant I would not be receiving any mail. Yet when me and Worthless went outside about 3:00 for our afternoon walk, there was a priority mailbox sitting next to my front door. Strange. Marshal Mo Hare, SASS #45984
It is a service provided on behalf of the US government you should not expect consistent behavior.
Cowtown Scout, SASS #53540 L
Normally the regular postal carrier will deliver all mail to your house. Occasionally a package will be delivered by a different person and I have even received a package on a Sunday before.

Rye Miles #13621
I wouldn't waste my time trying to figure out the USPS! I don't think even they know what's going on.
sassnetguy50
It depends on the amount of packages. If there is an unusually high amount of packages, they send a package dedicated vehicle on the route. The regular carrier here delivers all of the packages on the route, then does the mail.
