Lawdog Dago Dom
Why is it you see cool stuff after you retire, and really have no reason to buy it now? Maybe an exception?
DeaconKC
Before I retired, another Parole Agent I worked with was a woman about 5'2" who would take violators back to prison in pink ASP cuffs! PS she was one of the best shots with a 1911 I have ever met!

I got the picture on-line. You may have to go to the ASP website for tech specs.
DeaconKC
They are a polymer/steel hybrid cuff. They worked as well as any all steel cuffs. On our unit we all carried 2-3 sets all day, so weight made a difference. But our sex offenders hated going back in those.

Cyrus Cassidy #45437
When I retired from LE, I owned 9 pairs of handcuffs. I had two on my duty belt at all times, and the remainder were in my "go bag" in the cruiser. There was more than one occasion when I used ALL of them at once! Don't forget, I spent the bulk of my career in high crime, gang infested neighborhoods.
Black Angus McPherson
Is there something wrong with me in that the first thing I thought was "It's gonna be tough cleaning blood off those."? Angus

Irish Pat
We have a police lady that uses pink because her fellow officers would never return her regular cuffs. She has no trouble getting hers back now
