Sedalia Dave Posted June 17, 2020 Posted June 17, 2020 Lyman Cast bullet handbook is an excellent place to start.

Michigan Slim Posted June 18, 2020 Posted June 18, 2020 I'm a big fan of 3031. I use 27.5 grains with a 170 grain gas checked RNFP. I hunt with that load as well as long range events.
Tom Bullweed Posted June 18, 2020 Posted June 18, 2020 The Lee Loading book has a good chapter about cast bullets in .30-30, .308 and .30-06.
