Oh good lord.  THREE different sources of garbage information do not make it Gospel.  It (The Bionic Eye) is a Science fiction Pipe dream.  Are there folks trying to make one??  Sure.  In our lifetime ??  Currently there is not even a dream of being able to hook one up to the brain.

Some may consider a bionic eye from what they see in the movies, but for those who are blind or have some form of vision loss, can be implanted with a form of bionic eye to help them see better.
