J. Mark Flint #31954 LIFE 2,023
Thanksgiving at my house this year is Smoked ribs, homemade beef chili made with beef chunks, not ground whatever, and if I can pull it off, a dessert of flaming bananas foster. I have deep fried turkey, baked turkey, smoked turkey, made a cajun turkey over the years and they all turned out well, but. . . I don't like turkey! So it is all about me from now on! Birdgun Quail, SASS #63663 3,268
For the last 30 years, DEEP FRIED TURKEY! Best tasting, most moist, always positive comments, never fails to come out perfect. Learned to deep fry turkey while living 25 years in Alabama. Moved to Arizona and few had ever eaten deep fried turkey. Now I deep fry turkeys for many of my neighbors. We're going to have a big neighborhood potluck dinner before Christmas and I was requested to bring one of my deep fried turkeys. Wife doesn't ever want to oven bake another turkey; always deep fry our turkeys, says she!!
