What's the over/under for how many more stories Creeker can squeeze in before the match?

Don’t encourage him

Really?

Is this really the direction you want to take this?

Seems safer than some of the directions we have taken other threads

True enough.

I'm just trying to think of another story that is interesting AND suitable for the wire.

Just don’t start telling the story about that one time at band camp......

Mailed yesterday!

I love having new shooters join us and shooters that have been away, for far too long, return.

Thank you.

There is no doubt shooting bull makes things “memorable”.  I still have nightmares

So I was thinking...

I always hurt myself, get sick or just plain over stress myself the week of Eldorado.

Between setting steel and preparing for the match and trying to shoot well.

It's just too much for me.

So I think I am going to make Desert Scorpion set all the steel this year while I supervise from the shaded coverings.

You think there's any chance she goes for this?

OK EVERYBODY........

Let' s sing.....

Oh I wish I was an Eldorado Cowboy

That is what I truly want to be e e.....

For if I was an Eldorado Cowboy......

Everyone would be in love with me.................................

How am I supposed to beat you, if you don’t wear yourself out before the match??

I was just thinking about what a match might be like if I was rested and healthy.

What was it?

Four years ago; I pretty much collapsed on the 2nd day and you guys wouldn't even let me run the timer anymore.

Think that was the year I was in the ER on Sunday.

Two years ago?

I broke a bone in my left hand (my dominant hand) on the second stage of the match.

Lots of Ibuprofen, ice and a completely numb left hand made shooting Gunfighter an adventure.

Yeah...

I'm definitely making Scorpion do all the work this year.

If you wear her out at setup, who’s gonna make sure you and I drink water, don’t dehydrate, and don’t work too hard??

she has single handedly kept us healthy on several occasions.   I hate to admit it, but we actually kinda need her around and healthy.

Dang it...

I do love her too.

She is the driving force on any posse regarding water intake and heat reminders.

And she gives no nevermind to age, position, reputation or your opinion.

When Scorpion comes over to you and hands you a bottle of water and says, "drink and go set down"...

You do so.

As an aside; the latest who's coming list is posted on the website.

According to Charming, we are about 20 shooters ahead of the same time last year.

And I promise plenty of iced down bottled water will be provided to keep all of us hydrated and healthy.

Checks in the mail.  Cody and Kirk are in.  Looking forward to it.

I hope this trend continues.  This is a great match, and it should grow

??? It's a SASS sanctioned state championship.  All SASS rules apply.  I've never heard of a frangible ammo requirement anywhere. (Which obviously doesn't mean it doesn't exist.  Just that I've never heard of it.)

Yo-De-O Rose looking forward to shooting with you & Mike. How goes it.?

Interesting day on the range today.

Had a reporter from the local newspaper come out to watch our match.

He does print columns and online content as well.

Took some videos and interviewed a few of the more talkative shooters.

Talked up our upcoming state match and at the end of the time; actually got him into a gunbelt and had him firing all the guns.

Really think he enjoyed it and hopefully we provided him with some content that encourages others to come out and see us or play.
