1. Do you prefer the 7.5" barrell over the 4.875" barrell?  Both are on sale.

     I've never tried a 7.5" barrell.

2.  It looks like the extra $25 Cabelas credit card offer is for in store in stock guns only.

3.  The fine print on the $25 off for using the Cabelas credit card looks like it is not valid on promotions or other combinations, if I am reading it correctly.  Still a great deal, but the extra $25 would make it really sweet and worth the 45 min drive.

if you haven't had the Cabelas Card and apply for a new Card, you would get $25 off.

Please correct me, if I'm wrong.

Thanks

.

I bought three 51's individually .

They was 70.00 off each .

Then I paid with my Existing Card and got a additional 25.00 off each gun .

Then I used some points I had on my Card , and got a additional 44.00 off each gun .

Ended up 120.00 out the door each  gun.

Rooster

PS . I bought the 7.5 because I already have two Sheriff Models 1860's .

Im going to use the Percussion Cylinders off the 51's for my 1860's .

Then use my R&D cylinders on the new 7.5  51's as Dedicated Cartridge Guns .

Rooster

PSS. You can also order online.

I just have a store 5 miles away .

So I just went in to the store and Cancelled my online order .

I don't have a Cabela's card so with shipping and sales tax I paid $206.  Unfortunately, the short models are are being backordered or I might have bought one of those too, but I got the 7-1/2" backup gun that I was looking for.  Now I'll have either 100% backup or I can set up a pard in need.  :)

I shouldn't have looked at this thread. I have a safe full of open tops but.  There is a new 7-1/2" .44 on the way and a short barrel backordered. There was no room for the Armies. Can't have too many.
