Three Foot Johnson
... and it seems there are a lot more oddball designs when it comes to shotguns - the Darne sliding breach and twist barrel shotguns, the Fox Patent Side-Swing, the Burgess slide action, Davenport (and others) falling block single shots, Davenport double barrel, Chiappa Triple Crown/Triple Threat 3 barreled shotgun, etc. I've got some of them, and am always looking to fill in the empty spots in my collection with others. Tom Bullweed
Spencer trombone action (precursor of the pump) would be a neat gun to have. Winchester 1885 High Wall in 16 or 20 gage would a rare and fun gun.

Forty Rod SASS 3935
Had a Whitney-Burgess .45-70 repeater. It was stolen many years ago and I still love that huge monster. It was a solid 98% mechanically ans about 85% apperance-wise, and a hoot to shoot. Predated Marlin and Winchester lever guns in .45-70 by a few years. Hoss Carpenter
I had an older, rich Brother in Law years ago who gave me a beautiful German Drilling. It was two bbls 16 gauge and the bottom bbl was a 6.5 by 55. I was living in Rapid City, SD at the time. I took it to a Gun Show in Gillette, WY and traded it straight up for a real nice Winchester 76 in 45-60. Don't have it anymore either! Cheers, Hoss C.
