Beans beans their good for your hart....

If the "green new deal" happens there will be liberals and hippies running around cow pastures with bags trying to capture cow fats..... will they be coming after us too?

Beautiful warm and sunny day here at my duplex, soon my gardener will show up to make the place pretty.

Well now,  not trying to be too grumpy here, but.....  it sure is great to be alive.  Literally.   I've had my third bout in my life with pneumonia and didn't know if I was going to make it this time.  I've rounded a corner and on the mend, thank the Lord.  I'm planning on getting to a match soon.  Had one under my belt this year and have got to get the BP out soon before I dry up completely.  Miss all of you but don't take that for me getting soft.

Flooding here.

Called out the Army to help out and relieve the folks filling sandbags.

Looks like it'll be worse than 2017, with more rain forecast for the next few days.

Creek beside my place looks like it's running well, but I'm keeping an eye on it.

AND STAY OFF MY LAWN!

Ottawa Valley Marauders have had to cancel their April 27 opening match, due to the weather.

Too bad, 'cause it looked like a good one.

I couldn't have made it but DANG!

Strange says it will be moved to July.

I think I'll be able to make that one; Maybe the one next weekend at Cornwall with Ruff's Regulators too!

That would be alright after all the ones I had to miss last year.

Creek beside my place is rising again, but it's running and doesn't appear to be blocked.

Keeping my fingers crossed.

Now get off my lawn!

Have you had the pneumonia shot?  My wife and I had the shot a couple of years ago, one shot is good for life.  When you think about it, how many people have you heard who were in the hospital for one problem or another but, ended up dying of pneumonia instead.

Take care, Rev

Water going down around Constance Bay and along the Ottawa and Rideau Rivers, but MAN the damage where the sand bag walls and berms failed.

Homes and wells contaminated from overwhelmed septic systems. Even the sand bags and the sand is affected by the contaminated water.

# 1 son and a couple of his friends were out volunteering, filling sand bags, ferrying gas to pumps where the electricity was cut off, trying to save them.

Second major flood around here since 2017, and that was a "Hundred Year Event"

Looks like building on a historical flood plain just may not be a good idea.

First match since last July and the diagnosis.

Had a lot of fun and got a warm welcome from the posse.

The GRUMPY part was my misses and "P's"

Found a picture of my namesake from the 27th Georgia.

SWMBO says she sees the family resemblance. Not sure I can.

I wonder if I can find some of those who served the Union?

Ahh Yes, Mr. Dress Up's Carbon Tax on top of the "No Pipe-Lines" mantra.

All in a country, I'm told, has a negative carbon impact.

Come on October!
