Iron Pony
Similar conditions up here GD. Was at the range with a couple of former students yesterday, went from about 55 degrees down to about 40, had a blast of rain then snow and freezing rain/sleet in the space of about 40 minutes. By the time we were all done the sun was out yet again. Weird, just plain weird.
Guest Copper Mart
Blizzard on Snoqualmie Pass yesterday afternoon. Chains required, 35mph speed limit, could only see the LED tail lights on the semi ahead. Was down to 15 mph for a while. Left the snow into blue skies and daffodils. Glad I have yet to mount the summer tires. BMC.... The Yak is running chocolate milk and flooding in spots. Sigh....
Badger Mountain Charlie SASS #43172
Blizzard on Snoqualmie Pass yesterday afternoon. Glad I have yet to mount the summer tires. BMC.... The Yak is running chocolate milk and flooding in spots. Sigh.... I went down to Maple Valley over Tiger Mountain. There was snow on the top and slush along the right of way. That is only 1300 feet. Saw snow, rain and sunshine all in five miles. Came home through Fall City and the Snoqualmie is out of her banks at a few places. Water everywhere. Been a strange spring so far. Maybe May will be better. Gonna have to get the fishing gear ready. Been preoccupied with that new .22 I bought. Time for some stoneflies and mayflies.
Tres Pistolas
At the Shaketails shoot today, we got 4 stages done before the snow came, bagged the 5th stage and went to the ranch house for some hot lunch. Cold as heck, but a good day shootin...
Capt. James H. Callahan
Wow, someplace with as weird weather as Texas. Was 97 today . Supposed to be 65 tamale. I will pass on the snow though, even though it's dry as a popcorn f*rt and we could use some precipitation. JHC
Grizzly Dave
I am happy for the precip, very dry here too and seeing wild fires here and there. I don't think we got enough to make a big difference though, a day of wind and all will be dry again.
