Deja Vous
and plans for next year? I hope by the end of the year to have a Gym membership.. lol.. Everytime I schedule an appointment I end up working late.. lol.. I have been to one so far.. So, by the end of the year I will be a member one way or the other, and into a routine again to keep my muscle tone. My goals for next year are.. 1. Look for a different place to live... not use to apartments, so buy a home or rent a home or duplex... I love the people here, but Rat Dog needs a yard and I need privacy of a yard too. And I could use a place to reload in case my reload partner finds a girl, or gets tired of my silliness.. lol 2 Be a better person by getting out there an joining up in my community. I do like to talk and socialize and clubs are the best places to do that. 3. make more SASS friends and buy more guns.. lol.. So.. what are yours.. and I need to go clean my pistols and shotgun now.. back later..
Doc Shapiro
Ya ain't got much time left to get that gym membership! For the rest of this year? I don't have any goals. Nor any goals for next year. How's that for ambivalent?
Wasatch Lawman
1. My main goal is to early retire by July 1st. Would be 52 by then. 2. Next is to get in better phyical shape which would help to control my diabeties better. Don't have any bad side effects yet, and want to keep it that way. 3. Shoot more matches, pretty much just one a month now. 4. Get another gun safe and fill it to overflowing. Guns already clean Wasatch
Grizzly Dave
The rest of this year? Survive. Enjoy family and a few extra days off from work. Next year? Survive. Need to finish getting the house ready to sell, then hope to get it sold and find a new house that suits us and that we can better afford. Hopefully that will allow more, okay, allow some money to do more cowboy shooting and meet more great folks.

And I am so sorry, I understand how tough that can be. The whole reason I became a heatlhy nutty kinda person was really to be "stronger" for self defense. As I moved in that direction I found out I felt better too, and then as I aged and saw my family around me getting hypertension, heart disease, diabetes, and kidney disease I decide I had made at least one good decision in life.. lol.. A sense of humor, looking on the bright side are just a part of my personality and a drug reaction I think to an old prescrption drug.. lol.. Lucky me, huh? You can never have toooooo many guns.. or safes either for that matter.. lol.. I am going to look for a home soon, either buy or rent not sure yet kinda testing the waters myself on Zillow right now. But I want a place where I can just live simply, with a large workspace for my guns, and hobbies... Rat nor I take up much room.. lol

Oklahomabound
...get done by the end of the year? ..............musing the thought................ Let's see; there's the "Honey Do" list, items noted on stickies and little blackboards, and notes on calendars. I have plenty of reminders; however, I'm only going to do those things that I feel have to be done....... some of which are not on the afore mentioned reminders..... ....retired now, motivation is entirely different.... ...guess it has to do with "...my want to...". Wolfgang, SASS #53480
Well Deja . . . leave it to you to be different . . . most of the time folks are asking about whut for next year . . . ie new year's resolutions and whut . . . . . . . but fur ME . . it'd be nice to have the saloon I'm constructing done in time for the new years eve party at "White Horse Ranch". I figured to do a lot this coming weekend . . but the weather people are talking strongly about RAIN At least the front is well primed to protect the wood facing . . . and I got the one side wall up which is being utilized by "German Pete" as the side of a shed that he is constructing for storage of movie making equipment that usually sits out in the street. We left 12 ft between that wall of "JEFF SMITHS PARLOR" and the wall of the next building (which is a Express Agency) so that he could bridge between them for a badly needed storage area for the movie equipment. There will be an "alley way" for just 4 ft back from the fronts of the buildings . . then a roofed area with doors in front to hide the movie equipment when not needed. The movie stuff is used in the street for "shows" about how movies are made, . . the "scene" that is played out as an example of movie making, . . being a robbery of the bank that is right accross the street. Anyhoooo..... if the weather will cooperate . . . maybe I can have it done for the New Years Eve party . .

JD Trampas, SASS # 55781
I'm going to do the same next year as I did this year, shoot alot, maybe do more practiceing, otherwise not much, right now I'm coop up inside because of cold weather and snow, hate cold weather, or should I say my lungs don't. So I stay inside and watch TV, view the SASS wire and look at all your posts Deja, do go out once in awhile when I have to but try not to, can't wait for the 90's again, I feel so good then, these old bones just can't take the cold anymore, since I went past 40 it's been downhill since then, if I could afford it I would buy a trailer and head to AZ or TX for the winter. All for now JD Trampas
