I have one of these rifles. I use a 300 grain RCBS Bullet gas check. Haven't fired it past 300 yards. At 300 yards it dings the target. Works well with Black Powder or Smokeless.

Chinks from what I have read came in use after 1900. People do use them. I think they shouldn't be allowed.

Everyone is talking about opening the channel. I agree it needs to be open. The people that are trapped in their vehicles. Need to be extracted. Seems like everyone has forgotten. About the people who lost the lives.

Been shooting 44 WCF, for 48 years. As long as you don't get in a hurry loading it. You won't have a problem.

A lot more room in vehicles back them. Easier to scoot. across seat. The seats were bench seats. No council in middle. -
Try Gun Parts they had Center Fire firing pins. Sometimes S&W Long will chamber. I have a Marlin 92. Nice little Rifle. I shoot S&W longs in it. If you can find them, Navy Arms had a run of 32 Rimfires a few years ago. You can swap out firing pins in about 5 minutes. No special tools needed.

I went to a Gun Show in Princeton Illinois. I was talking to someone that was wearing a western shirt. It had western firearms on it. Winchester 73's Colts in Holsters. And other western firearms. I asked him were he purchased it. He said Brass Pro in Peoria Illinois. I looked on there Web Site. Didn't see them. Has anyone else seen them? If so where and who is the Maker. The person I was talking too said his wife got it for him. Thank You.

Recomendations for a Quigley Match rifle - 45-70 or 45-???
Bailey Creek,5759 replied to Tracker Jim's topic in SASS Wire
Out to 1000 yards the 45-90, be a better choice. I do like my Shiloh in 45-70 thou.
