Update: the scumbag had 4 warrants out for him plus he broke parole. One of the warrants were for a gun charge. The guy had a Mac 10 full auto according to the Sheriff. He was apparently wounded and then shot himself.

josey wales. I’ve heard of several clubs doing/offering it. It sounds more popular than folks think. Since outlaw has its own organization it wouldn’t make sense for SASS to get behind it.

As a general rule, in the Navy junior officers (lieutenant/03 and below) were addressed by title and name, e.g., 'Mister Smith', Ms. Jones (can't recall ever hearing anything other than the 'blended' Miss/Mrs. title), 'Doctor Wilson. Informally within certain groups, other forms of address might come into play -- pilots using callsigns, enlisted addressing the division officer as LT ('ell-tee') within the workspaces, etc. Lieutenant Commanders and above were addressed by rank and name (with the 'lieutenant' modifier being dropped when directly addressing lieutenant commanders in informal settings). Regarding doctors, it was generally okay to flip-flip between the title or the rank, no one really said anything, but then I never had cause to address a doctor who was a senior officer.

What do they call lower ranking female officers in the Navy? I don't know if they still do, but they used to call at least the three lower ranks, and maybe even Lieutenant Commander (but I'm not sure about that one) "Mister". You talking to an Ensign or JG or even a full lieutenant, and you called him Mr Jones. Mr Smith. But they got women officers. Do they call them Mister, because that's what you call people of that rank? Or do they call them Miss, because they're female not male? Or do they call the females by the rank but still call the males mister? Or have they done away with the whole "Mister" thing because of women officers? I was just looking at pictures of the original Star Trek crew, and the stripes on their sleeves. Sulu had one stripe. Uhura had one stripe. They called Sulu "Mr Sulu", but they called Uhura "Lieutenant Uhura". But they also called Spock "Mister", and he was a full Commander. So you really can't compare the show to reality. But it was just the fact that they called the male Mister and called the female by her rank is what caused me to wonder how our Navy does it.

2024 Tennessee State Championship

TW finally tells something with a little truth. Indeed, we are sponsoring one of the Port-A-Jons at the TN State. My side is the UPPER half. Naturally, TW is sponsoring the lower half where all the smell goes...... As for being a .... "Lyingest lowdown yeller bellied Yankee biscuit eating cur dog...", I resent being called a 'Yankee'. While TW was in Knoxville, the Bunkhouse Boss and I took ole TW and his family out to eat at Longhorn steakhouse. TW was about to order a big cheese burger until I told him that supper was 'my treat'. That rascal then ordered one of them steaks what has a long name like..... LONGHORN RIBEYE........ or something like that. It comes with a huge bone still on the steak. And I think they price it by weight.... bone included. I won't say the cost was significant, but TW studied all the prices and then ordered the biggest and most expensive steak on the menu. Just about took TWO credit cards to pay for supper. It was worth it, cause I had a pleasant meal with 3 beautiful ladies to talk with while eating. The only distraction was the drunks from the bar walking over to our table saying "HEY". to. 'JOE'. Guess WHO "Joe" was? And now you know the rest of the story! ..........Widder- 265 replies

Getting ready for some plastering. Unlike Fr. Patrick who frescoes on wet plaster, the guy who will do the pendentives works on dry plaster. So things got moved and covered. Scaffolding will go up, and for 2 weeks people will be doing the plastering. We're being farmed out either to the little church or to other parishes for a few weeks.

Actually, looking at that picture, Kirk only had two and a half, which would make him a Lieutenant Commander.
-
I have two thoughts on that. First, if he is the commander of the ship, it does not matter what his actual rank is. He is Captain. If an Ensign is in command of the PT boat, he is the Captain. Second, maybe he's in Starfleet. Captain Kirk only had three stripes.

Got rained out today. I don’t like to shoot on my place during school hours. If they hear gunfire at the school they go into lockdown. I’m far enough away that there’s no danger, but close enough to have the noise cause concern. It’s what some folks would consider tedious work, but I enjoy it and it’s fun to break out different stuff. The day wasn’t totally wasted. I roll crimped about a hundred of my brass Black Powder shells this morning and loaded a few more 10ga plastic hulls with smokeless. I also deprimed the last of my 12ga MagTec shells and got them ready to prime and reload.

I was in Knoxville all this weekend for the state basketball AAU championships, and this coming weekend I'll be at Austin Peay for the field portion of the state championships for track and field. Rowdy Riley is keeping us busy! I even beat Widder out of a steak dinner at Longhorn this past weekend. He may be the lyingest lowdown yeller bellied Yankee biscuit eating cur dog this side of the Mississippi, but as friends go, he ain't that bad. Me and him are sponsoring one of the port-a-jons at the shoot. He said he was putting a camera in on his side of it. I can't tell ya which one it is.- 265 replies
