OK , i wouldnt even think of grabbing a shovel for that skiff of snow ,

BUT i get your concern for the unwinterized 5th wheel , heat good , cold would be a real mess and expensive fix ,

Yeah, heat is keeping it around 60 inside and the 3 tank heaters are on. So far so good. Yeah the snow was a joke for someone from Colorado but those locals around me were trying to make a snowman and failing and then just having a snowball fight.

well at least they were having fun , i remember a blizzard hitting in OK city when i was there in feb , locals were sliding all over the place , i had to make a trip north from tinker to vance in enid , i had the interstate mostly to myself , lost of trucks and cars in the ditch but i had no issue , was used to driving in that crap , it had been -25 when i left the quad cities a week before and we had three feet of snow on the ground , biggest issue was chipping the ice at the hanger door so we could get the plane out for the flight

Yeah, OKC is bad for ice. I was raised there and my family still live there. My dad even worked at FAA then went to Tinker until he retired. Even though they get ice all the time they still don't know how to drive in it. I don't have problems with it but you have to watch out for the other crazy drivers running into you.

Made the mistake of piously imitating an old b'ar.
Didn't bother to start the Jeep for better than a week ... through the coldest nights of the year so far.
Tried to start it yesterday.
Wouldn't roll the engine.
A lengthy session on the charger and it fired up and ran fine today.
7 year old battery ... I reckon that one's paid for itself!

you have to do that everywhere , there are a lot of folks that cant drive on ice and snow , but i think its gotten worse here lately as we have so many imported new folks that come from places haven't ever seen snow ,

Not far off how it looks here.  Been dry for a while.  Looks like the pattern is going to break at the end of the week with a foot expected on Saturday.

You are all imagining it! Don't forget global warming. (Denver had windchill of -20F this AM and still snow on the ground, although not much.)

Oh, and for those blaming global warming on human activity, have you checked the sun's peaking activity lately?

Yeah!  I'll bet Trump gets blamed for that, too.

More snow is coming this weekend.  Looking like over 2 feet between Friday and Tuesday.  Love it!  Much shoveling will happen, along with trips up to the ski hill!

im sure he does but we all know the truth - just like newsome cant fix californias problems [we all know the truth here] and they lie about global warming , trump will get the blame in MSM no matter what the facts are , the climate will change and the political moves will not alter mother nature ,

enjoy your cold and snow , im having a week of +30s before we go back to the deep freeze here , we need some snow cover and we have less than a foot right now , hate to wish for crap weather but we could use it here , we have about 4 foot normal frost but when there is no snow we get a lot deeper and it damages infrastructure ,

came back to add that we have had broken sewer lines and water lines and such in this month because of the lack of snow cover , i hate it but its needed
