Forty Rod SASS 3935 Posted December 7, 2024 Posted December 7, 2024 I never saw one of those. Does it identify as a him, her, it, them?
Blackwater 53393 Posted December 7, 2024 Posted December 7, 2024 Reckon it’s a live one. Probably a bit of a pet. Don’l look like is been shot and it certainly ain’t been dressed…

Don’l look like is been shot and it certainly ain’t been dressed… Don't think so. Blood on the nose and tongue is drawn out. A whitetail doe with antlers, although rare, isn't that rare. However, most of the time they never shed their velvet and the size of the rack on this one is very rare. Most antlered does are cow-horned.
Cold Lake Kid, SASS # 51474 Posted December 7, 2024 Posted December 7, 2024 I saw one brought in whole, to the warden's offices, to prove what the guy had shot had antlers, since he only had a buck tag.

In most states the tags say Antlered vs simply buck. By the same token the permits say Anterless vice Doe.
Cold Lake Kid, SASS # 51474 Posted December 8, 2024 Posted December 8, 2024 Ours in Ontario specify "Antlered" as well, but I wanted to avoid confusion in case any of your states word it differently. 17 hours ago, Sedalia Dave said: In most states the tags say Antlered vs simply buck.
