ok , now i can talk christmas - and hear christmas music , T-give is over , we are into leftovers and looking ahead , a year ago we got tired of the real tree needles and cleanup as well as no longer having any family to go cut the tree with - all of them have now taken that into their own family settings , so we went to an artificial , balsam hill  that we re-set up this year , ill admit the storage is an issue for me so far but ill figure it all out , the tree is great ,

we still have two small artificial that we have had since the kids were young that have traditionally been set up in their rooms , still are for when grandkids come

there is a ceramic that goes back another generation in my wifes family that we put out but its still packed away right now

True, and if you don't put Christmas lights on your house the day after Thanksgiving, you also free up the day before Easter for taking them down.

What you mean "take it down"??

Mr. Linn Keller told a story of his experience of attending an emergency in some "out of the  way" place, mid year, and being guided to the correct premises by the Lady of the house turning on her Christmas lights.  😇
