Cold Lake Kid, SASS # 51474 Posted October 7, 2024 Posted October 7, 2024 One more cut of the thousands that came before and the thousands yet to come.
Pat Riot Posted October 7, 2024 Posted October 7, 2024 Maybe in 3 months there will be a change that ends or delays this silliness.
Hardpan Curmudgeon SASS #8967 Posted October 7, 2024 Posted October 7, 2024 Surprised that hunting will still be allowed. Jeepers ~ what WERE they thinking?
Forty Rod SASS 3935 Posted October 8, 2024 Posted October 8, 2024 I am thoroughly sick snd tired of left wing commie AHs just arbitrarily attacking us for for no defensible reasons, entirely too often in violation of laws already one the books since the country was still young. They are really a small minority who lie, cheat, and steal into office because of the ignorant people who believe their BS promises and who who vote for them. Them and the other idiots who don't / won't vote for whatever reason.
Pat Riot Posted October 8, 2024 Posted October 8, 2024 This BS did start with California and they export their ideas and “How to’s” to other states with like minded administrative staff. This include the admin staff of Federal lands. Years ago CA wanted to ban shooting in Angeles Nat’l Forest, but there was a pesky reg that said “The land is open to all regardless of sex, color, creed, etc.” So, they went with a public safety angle but realized this could be a liability. Since the state promoted safety if one got shot one could sue as they weren’t kept “safe”. Then in walks The Sierra Club and Green Peace, with their coffers of political funding, preaching the word of “Environmental and Wildlife Safety”. HALLELUJAH!!! The antigun bureaucrats saw the light and they began using this new doctrine to created regulations to stop recreational shooting and in some cases, hunting. The Feds fell in with it because L.A. County had made a deal with the Feds that they would help patrol and monitor Angeles Nat’l Forest saving Federal tax dollars. It had been quietly spreading for a long time now.

Once entered, visitors can stay the entire duration of the day that the Scenic Drive is open to the public. Please have a printed or digital copy of your reservation ticket available to be scanned BEFORE arriving at the entrance station. Current Pass holders must provide the physical pass for validation. The Visitor Center is open 8 am to 4:30 pm. If you plan to visit the Visitor Center, plan to go there first. Re-entry into the Scenic Drive after your one-hour entry reservation will require a new reservation. Parking lots fill up early on weekends, holidays, and fee free days. Visitors arriving between 10 am – 2 pm cannot assume that all parking lots will be open. Visitation Reminder October 1 To May 31 | Red Rock Canyon Las Vegas (redrockcanyonlv.org)
watab kid Posted October 8, 2024 Posted October 8, 2024 seems the federal ;law as discussed in the first article is clear about the fact they are breaking it by not having a stated objective and time limit to their ruling , the second appears to indicate there is a lot of public use pressure , i suppose they are justifying their rules by trying to keep it flowing ?
