EDIT: It was first played at the 1900 games as an “unofficial event”. It was a Demonstration Event in the 1912 games and became an official event in 1992 and was played in consecutive Olympics through 2008. A shoot off like they do at the end of the big matches! Of course you'd want the best for a real competition. I'm making fun of some of these events they have now. Synchronized diving for example. The absolute world best individual divers are competing individualy. None of them with a chance to medal individually are going to do the synchronized diving. The Synchronized divers are very good but second tier divers to the individual divers. But can now they can medal too . And no, I know there's no chance of action shooting in the Olympics.
