Major Crimes
I just picked up 1000 SP here in Aust. I don't know your prices, but they were $200 which is cheaper than Federal. Haven't tried them yet so watching here too. Edited June 15 by Major Crimes

Maybe most things are more expensive in Australia than they are in Michigan? How about the current exchange rate? So, if you can get them feds are around $245, CCI are $225, and Remi are $245. $245 AUD is about $161 USD. You can get a bit cheaper in QLD ($195 for 1000 Federal) but that's 1000 of km driving (no delivery of Ammo in Aust). Its pay it or don't shoot. I guess this is relevant too: What is the average income in Australia? According to the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS), the average weekly earnings for full-time adults was $1,888.80 in November 2023, which equates to an annual salary of approximately $98,000. Tex Jones, SASS 2263
What's the alternative if you want to shoot? I'll bet loaded ammo is a bit more expensive.

Our minimum wage is over three (3) times that of the U.S And how much do you think it costs to send primers in a shipping container by sea from a port in the U.S 10,000 miles to a port in Australia and the trucking to get them to the port and out of the port?

Painted Mohawk SASS 77785
One of our biggest importers in Australia Nioa Firearms I'm told enquired about making a primer facility ..they were knocked back by Government intervention, true or not I don't know but it wouldn't surprise me..they want our guns & if they can't get them then why not make it near impossible to purchase ammo or reloading components. The biggest cost factor to get stuff here is the shipping & insurance..the prices are thru the roof. We used to have so much manufactured in Australia, now virtually nothing. White River primers I haven't used so I can't say yay or nay...people still want to shoot so if you want to pay the high price then that's what they will do !!! [ I'm lucky as I have plenty of Federal ]
